During the first few years of life, a human being is capable of absorbing more information at a time than they will ever be able to again. On that note, although some academic learning can take place in preschool, children benefit primarily from the social aspects of early educational settings.
Interestingly, according to national statistics, about 80 percent of kids spent at least some time in day care by age 4. For many parents, finding a daycare can be a challenge, however. Not every day care business is the same; there is private child care, subsidized child care, summer child care, public child care, and corporate child care.
