Continuing education has always been a problem for me. I started going to school back when I had just graduated High School, but my money ran out after that year. I just could not afford to go back to school and keep continuing my education. I needed to make money, and I needed to make money quickly.
Now that I am living independently, though, it has become a necessity. I need to get a head, and adult continuing education is the only way that I know how to do that. So l looked into my options, and some keyword kept popping up. My related searches were showing “UNM continuing education,” “New Mexico continuing Education” and “continuing education UNM.”
And, you know, the more I think about continuing my education, the more I like the idea of it. It is no longer about getting a higher paying job. I want to pursue something I love. I want to stop going to “work” and just do something that makes me fulfilled, you know? I want to find a vocation, not just a job.
Plus, I think continuing my education will make me grow as a person. It will test me, challenge me, and push me into personal growth that I may or may not have been running from since I was just a teenager.
And know what? I believe I am ready for that.
What do you guys think about continuing education? Do you have any opinions? Thoughts? Ideas? Please share in the comments.
